I remember this one from the TV series on Mahabharata…

यदा  यदा  हि  धर्मस्य  ग्लानिर्भवति  भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य  तदात्मानं  सृजाम्यहम्  ॥४-७॥

परित्राणाय  साधूनां  विनाशाय  च  दुष्कृताम् ।
धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय  सम्भवामि  युगे  युगे  ॥४-८॥

Translation:

Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion – at that time I descend Myself.

To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium.

Here’s something for you to think upon…

उत्सव   हर  ओर  और  जगमग  मन  मन्दिर,

के   इन  गलियों  की  आज  भिन्न  सी  कुछ  आभा  है,

 गूंजेगा  पलना  आज  स्वयँ  वासुदेव  की  किलकरी  से,

पर इस मोर पॅंख में तेज आज कुछ कम सा है कुछ आधा है,

के  बुझा  दिया  जिस  कोख  का  दिया  समाज के इन रखवालों ने,

शायद उसी  कोख  में  राधा  है… उसी  कोख  में  राधा  है…||
