Let yourself be silently drawn by the surreal pull of love.
A soul mate isn’t one who completes you but the one who inspires you to complete yourself. Someone who loves you with so much conviction and so much heart that it is nearly impossible to doubt just how capable you are of becoming exactly who you have always wanted to be.
Love someone who loves your free spirit,
Sets your wild self free and runs amok with it,
Someone who never belittles you,
Loves you in all shades of emotions,
All gloomy colors, any boiling hue,
Someone who knows how gentle you are,
But doesn’t kindle your fragile scars,
Someone who knows your might and feels proud of it,
Shares your secrets and flaws but doesn’t arouse guilt,
Find someone who is
Patient, forgiving, and apologetic,
Humble, kind and empathetic,
Not only with you but everyone,
The one who shares your soul,
And loves you like none…
The best place in the world is in the arms of someone who will not only hold you up and hug you tight at your weakest moment.
When you choose a life partner, you are choosing a lot of things, including
- Your parenting partner: someone who will deeply influence your children,
- Your eating companion for about innumerable meals,
- Your travel companion: someone to share memories with,
- Your retirement friend, career therapist and someone whose day you’ll hear about for the rest of your life.
All said and done but love can never be planned, it is always spontaneous. Never underestimate the power and possibilities of ‘koi-no-yokan’.
When you have found your ‘special someone’ and choose to tap your privilege to be able to say ‘I love you’ to him/her, remember that you have to earn the right to be believed, the right to be loved.
I love you in ways
you have never been loved,
For reasons
you have never been told,
For longer
than you think you deserved,
And with more
than you will ever know
that existed inside me…

Forelsket (Norwegian): The euphoria you experience when you’re first falling in love.
Koi-no-yokan (Japanese): The sense one can have upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall in love. Differs from “love at first sight” as it does not imply that the feeling of love exists, only the knowledge that a future love is inevitable.
The love saga will continue…keep in touch for more:-)
Loved it a lot.

You are choosing a lot of things when you choose your partner. This is a brilliant truth which we realize only after marriage.
