  1. बहुत सुँदर … शब्दों का मायाजाल अति उत्तम .. जल में जल की माया , जल से ही पाया , कूप है या सागर साँझ ही नहीं पाया । हमने तो ज़िंदगी ही कूप में रह कर बिता दी पता ही नहीं चला ।

  2. Glad that you’ve started writing Hindi haiku poems. Amitji and Kokila do write Hindi haiku and they both are wonderful. 🙂

Loved this one. “कूपंन्डुक” is a word much used in Bengali. It’s used as a proverb to signify a shallow person with a limited knowledge. I smiled too at the last line because in our school days we were supposed to make sentences with such words… 😀 Not an enjoyable memory… 😛

    1. Thank you so much Maniparna…Haiku for me is new and a bit tricky…to convey something in so few words is not always easy…I have read both Kokila and Amitji and they are awesome…I learned this word only recently , thanks to Devdutt pattnaik. It is actually from our ancient texts and I loved it instantly…Glad I could use it in a Haiku…Thanks again Maniparna:-)
