What is #true love?

             Love is perpetual and illimitable and cannot possibly be squeezed into a few words (and the sugar coating doesn’t help either). It is the rawest, purest feeling which can only be felt with a pious heart. But we don’t need to figure out what love actually means to embrace it. It will find the longing heart itself. True love is born out of a divine connection between two souls and they need not necessarily be young adults of opposite sex but even parents, siblings and friends can share true love too.  The hottest Bollywood theme of parents pitted against the amour has always sparked short circuits in my heart and brain. True love is more often portrayed as a pursuit of your beloved but I feel it is much beyond materialistic endeavors.

Love is not the flirty feeling

Not mere a glittering ring & kneeling

Love is sacrificial, love is ferocious

It is instinctive, limitless and atrocious

Love answers all questions, epic or small

It cannot be explained, yet it explains all.

               Love is a feeling of being inexplicably drawn to another person, wishing for his/her happiness without caring for your own self. Love is a gamut of adjectives and a conglomerate of emotions and feelings. It is crazy, complicated and most importantly real and it cannot be hidden where it truly exists. Love may be a lot of things but it is always a positive feeling. It may have a different meaning for each one of us on a scale ranging from infatuation to obsession; where true loves lies somewhere in between but is being mistaken more often than being understood. In this gadget driven virtual world people don’t like love; they only like the idea of love.  The squishy toys and splashy gifts exchanged on national romantic days have replaced love for all practical purposes.

True love is eternal, true love never dies,

True love is illimitable; beyond oceans and skies,

True love is cool breeze, true love is sunrise,

True love is verity; the truth above all lies…
